LGBTQ: US Department of Veterans Affairs defies Trump’s recognition of two genders
The United States Department of Veterans Affairs has refused to honour President Donald Trump’s executive order on recognition of only two sexes, male and female.
This is according to an alarm raised by a US-based media outlet, ‘LibsofTiktok,’ on X on Monday, reposted by Elon Musk, leader of Trump’s backed Department of Government Efficiency.
It alleged that US Department of Veterans Affairs is still listing ‘non-binary’ as a gender option on their data collection sheets, released on X.
“The US Dept. of Veteran Affairs is still listing “non-binary” as a gender option on their data collection sheets”, LibsofTiktok stated.
Meanwhile, the Department of Veterans Affairs is yet to respond to the claim as of the time of filing this report.
Recall that upon Trump’s inauguration on January 20, 2025, he announced two gender executive orders.
Trump, five days ago, signed the ‘No men in women’s sport’ executive order, putting a stop to men’s participation in women’s sport.
