Ligue 1: Akpom makes history on Lille debut

Chuba Akpom made history after scoring on his league debut for Lille against Le Havre at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy on Saturday night.

Akpom was the fourth Nigerian to achieve the feat.

DAILY POST recalls the trio of Victor Osimhen, Moses Simon and Terem Moffi previously achieved the feat with Lille, Nantes and Lorient.

Akpom was introduced after the break against Le Havre.

The 29-year-old scored the hosts only goal of the game deep into regulation time.

The striker linked up with Lille on loan from Ajax last month.
