Championship: Maja ruled out for several weeks with injury
Sky Bet Championship club, West Bromwich Albion have confirmed Josh Maja will be out for several weeks after sustaining a lower leg injury.
The Baggies in a statement on their official website stated that Maja will undergo surgery in the coming days before entering a period of rehabilitation.
The 26-year-old is expected to return to action before the end of the season.
The forward’s injury is a big blow for Albion, who are pushing for promotion to the Premier League this season.
The Nigerian has scored 12 goals and registered two assists in 26 league appearances for the club in the current campaign.
DAILY POST recalls, Maja was also sidelined for several months last season due to injury.
