Foundation Delivers Free Medical Outreach to Over 1,200 People Across Niger State

Aspire Alliance for Niger State Youth has successfully concluded a multi-day free medical outreach program across five local government areas in Niger State, providing vital healthcare services to underserved community members.

The outreach, held between July 28th and August 8th, 2025, covered Agaie, Edati, Suleja, Gurara, and Paikoro LGAs, with medical teams stationed in Agaie Town, Dikko, Dawaki, Gawu, and Paiko. 

The initiative was designed to improve access to basic health services and raise awareness about preventable diseases among young and vulnerable populations.

Participants received free diagnostic screenings for: Blood Pressure, Malaria Parasite, Hepatitis B & C, HIV (RVS), Blood Sugar and Ulcer.

The following are the locations covered, people screened, treated with drugs, and mosquito nets distributed.

July 28–30, 2025, Agaie Town & Dikko (Agaie & Edati LGAs) 875, 453 and 233.

August 5–8, 2025 | Dawaki, Gawu & Paiko (Suleja, Gurara & Paikoro LGAs) 364, 95 and 49.

Additionally, the distribution of 282 mosquito nets was a strategic intervention to combat malaria, especially in rural communities where the disease remains a major public health concern.

Local leaders and beneficiaries praised the initiative, noting that many participants had never undergone basic health screenings before. The outreach not only provided immediate care but also helped identify individuals in need of follow-up treatment.

Meanwhile, Aspire Alliance plans to expand its outreach efforts to additional communities in the coming months and is actively seeking partnerships with local health agencies to ensure continuity of care and long-term impact.
