2025 Reham Al-Farra Memorial Journalism Fellowship Opens

The call for applications for the 2025 Reham Al-Farra Memorial Journalism Fellowship has been announced. It opens on 17 February and closes on 31 March 2025.

The 2025 RAF Programme will bring together talented young journalists worldwide to learn more about the United Nations and its work.  

The RAF fellowship is open to full-time working journalists between 22 and 35 years of age who are nationals of Nigeria and other stated developing countries or countries with economies in transition.

Freelance journalists are also qualified to apply. As with all applicants, freelance journalists must provide strong work samples relevant to the UN and its priority issues. Where applicable, they are also encouraged to attach documentation of their press accreditation, for instance, membership in a press syndicate, union or similar association.
