Transfer: Nwachukwu seals move to Sheffield United

Nigeria winger, Christian Nwachukwu has joined Sheffield United from Bulgarian club, Botev Plovdiv.

Nwachukwu joined the Blades for an undisclosed fee.

The 19-year-old penned a deal until 2027, with a two-year option.

The move is subject to relevant documentation being lodged and approved.

Nwachukwu played a part in Botev Plovdiv’s Bulgarian Cup win last season, and during the current campaign enjoyed Europa League experience.

The youngster said he can’t wait to play for his new club.

“I’m looking forward to coming to Sheffield to play for United and continue my development.

“I look forward to meeting the lads and getting started,” he told the club’s official website.
