Transfer: Junior Ajayi joins Libyan club, Al Hilal

Nigerian striker, Junior Ajayi, has sealed a move to Libyan giants, Al Hilal Benghazi, DAILY POST reports.

Ajayi, a member of the U-23 Eagles team that won bronze medal at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil signed a short-term contract with Al Hilal.

Tarek Thabet’s side and rivals Al Merrikh are competing in the Mauritanian League due to the political unrest in Libya.

The 28-year-old joined Al Hilal on a free transfer after leaving Egyptian club, Smouha SC.

Ajayi scored four goals in six league appearances for Smouha.

He enjoyed his most successful spell at Egyptian club, Al Ahly, winning the league title four times as well as the CAF Champions League twice.
