Transfer: Leicester City, Marseille interested in Akpom

Ajax forward, Chuba Akpom is on the radar of Leicester City and Olympic Marseille, DAILY POST reports.

Akpom, 29, is available for loan, according to De Telegraaf.

The Nigerian-born forward previously rejected a loan move to Sky Bet Championship club, Sunderland.

Leicester City and Marseille have now entered the race to sign the striker.

Akpom has three-and-a-half years remaining on his contract with Ajax.

DAILY POST recalls the Arsenal academy graduate moved to Ajax in 2023 after a prolific season with Middlesbrough.

He has scored eight goals in 31 appearances for the Dutch giants this season.
