Fire guts Abuja Estate market

An early morning fire, on Monday, engulfed the market in Trademore estate, along Airport Road, Abuja.

While the cause of the fire could not be immediately ascertained, a resident of the area, who spoke to Vanguard, said his attention was drawn to the incident at about 4 am.

“We do not yet know the cause of the fire, but we cannot rule out an electrical issue,” he said.

According to him, two hours after the fire started, men of the Federal Fire Service arrived and put the fire out.
