NPFL: Insurance coach reacts to Nasarawa United defeat
Bendel Insurance interim coach, Greg Ikhenoba, has expressed disappointment with his side’s loss to Nasarawa United.
The Benin Arsenals suffered a 2-1 defeat to Nasarawa United at the Lafia City Stadium in a midweek fixture on Wednesday.
Ikhenoba stated that his team didn’t plan to lose the game.
He was, however, satisfied with the level of officiating in the game.
“It’s disappointing to lose this game because we didn’t plan to lose here, looking at our situation, but that’s football,” Ikhenoba stated in a post-match interview.
“Officiating was good. I was very impressed.
“We will go back home and fix our gray areas and ensure we come back smiling.”
Bendel Insurance dropped down to the bottom of the log with 12 points from 14 games following the defeat.
